Thunderbolt
Football Club is a privately owned professional football club based in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. It was founded in October 2015
after a complete takeover of RED LIONS sporting club and subsequently renamed THUNDERBOLT F.C. under a new management. The club is duly
registered and in good standing with the Ghana Football Association and it currently competes in the third tier of Ghana football and has its
home ground at Anwomaso Park (thus being popularly known as Anwomaso Thunderbolt) near Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

The club aims to identify and mobilize football talents in and around Kumasi and its environs and offer them the opportunity to harness their
skills and develop their talents to international standards by providing a conducive environment to enable footballers to play professional football.

The club has the support, commitment and an amicable relationship with the chief and leaders of Anwomaso.
